Lancome La Laque Fever - Furious in Fushia

Excuse the reflection of my camera!

In my continual quest for finding perfect lip colours I was led by subconscious into trying Lancome to see what kind of formulas and colours they have to offer. I'm not usually a lipgloss kind of girl but when I was recently in the Debenhams in Sunderland they were offering 20% of Lancome and if you bought two products you would receive a make-up bag full of sample sized make-up and skincare for free. With such amazing offers I jumped at the chance to pick up Lancome's most popular (according to the salesgirl) lipgloss shade, 312 - Furious in Fushia (RRP £19).

I'm always wary of ridiculously bright shades on my lips because my mouth is so small, and I think they make me look really odd. However I fell in love with the beautiful glittery pinky lilac colour of this gloss and am completely amazed by its pigmentation and staying power. Seriously, even after a whole day out at uni, and lunch, it stayed on my lips perfectly. I'm always wary of the inane stickiness of lip glosses but I found that Lancome's Furious in Fushia dried onto my lips, yet still managed to retain it's beautiful shine. As a girl with long hair I was not keen for the cliche hair-caught-in-lip-product scenario and this lipgloss managed to relieve that from happening.

I'm so impressed with my first delve into the world of Lancome, now I can't wait to try out the samples in my new make-up bag!

Do you have a favourite lip product?
What colours do you usually go for?
