Primark & Topshop Mini Haul

It has been requested on my giveaway blog post for me to include more hauls on my blog. I am a big fan of haul posts and videos, and today I went shopping (mainly to get my hair cut, but I popped into the shops too!) so I thought I'd show you what I bought.

One shop I always end up in is Primark. I went through a stage of hating everything that Primark had to offer, but I believe it's getting better if you manage to slalom your way gracefully through the piles of clothing on the floor and the odd child hiding in a clothes rail. I picked up a long black cardigan first for £10 (top left in picture). Cardigans are a staple in any wardrobe and I have at least 2 black ones on the go at any time. I then meandered to the skirt section and found this soft grey floaty skirt with an attached black belt for £8. It looks great as a high wasted skirt and top combination, and I particularly like it paired with my new white top with a gold button-like pattern detail (£6). The final piece of clothing I picked up in Primark is this gorgeous blouse/shirt with swallow collar tips stitched to the collar in blue thread (£10). I also fought my way to the jewellery stands and picked up two necklaces, one is a chunky cross, key and other little charms on a thick gold chain (£2, reduced from £4) and a dainty bundle of charms on a long gold chain for £2.

The final two items in my mini haul are from Topshop. As a girl who never wears trousers (the only trousers I own are for work!), I forever live in my leggings and tights, I couldn't pass up these beautiful greige pattered leggings for £25. They're quite thick and feel more like trousers, but are extremely comfortable and allow me to move about freely (I hate feeling restricted in trousers!). The black top has really pretty opaque lace cross in the middle of it, as well as lace panels on the shoulders (I don't think my camera picked it up that well...). It's incredibly soft, fits like a dream, and was a nice price at £10 down from £22 in the sale.

I also purchased what I believe I will be wearing to my graduation in June, but I'm not going to show that yet, I want to wait until the day!
